How to Winterize Dresses and Skirts

You can wear dresses and skirts in the winter!? Yep, and we’re going to tell you how. The short answer: *leggings for days*.

Here are three easy and warm ways to keep your wild ones snug as a bug:

  1. For the Holiday/New Year party: Dress it up with festive leggings and a fun sequined top. Add silver and gold accessories and maybe even some faux fur for a night of sparkling grape juice and dance parties.
  2. For the rainy day: Layer over top of their favorite colored leggings and a long sleeved tee. Add a pullover for extra warmth, rain boots, and raincoat and your wild one will be ready for exploring and jumping in puddles.
  3. For the school day: Pair with fleece-lined leggings, a thermal long sleeved top, and their winter coat. Add some long socks for a pop of color and don’t forget a hat, gloves and scarf for recess!

We know bundling and unbundling the kids in the winter can be a serious test of patience. Our hope is that our dresses and skirts can be a go-to, stress-free solution for dressing up, dressing down and even made quite cozy for a little variety in your kids’ winter wardrobe.
