3 Fall Fashion Tips to Help Transition Your Kids’ Wardrobe

Can you feel it?...the cool, crisp evenings, trees beginning to lose their leaves, and someone somewhere is sipping their first pumpkin spice latte of the season (what took them so long? ;) ) Fall is here! With back-to-school already in full swing, your kids getting dressed in the morning this fall shouldn’t have to be a thing.

We want you and your wild ones to have a stress-free morning, so here are 3 fall fashion tips to transition your kids’ wardrobe from summer to the cooler fall weather.

  1. Create layers. Layering is key when the cooler weather comes. You will want your family ready for anything. Introduce thicker materials over your kids’ favorite tee like a hoodie or pullover. Add leggings under their favorite summer skirt to transition into fall without too much difficulty.
  2. Introduce new colors. Get your little ones excited about the changing season by getting inspired by the fall colors. Allow them to mix and match colors and patterns. They’ll love that they match the bright yellow leaves and maybe even look as orange as a pumpkin! Deep purples and maroon are also great autumn colors to add into their wardrobe to transition to fall.
  3. Keep it simple. Your kids don’t need a whole new wardrobe for fall to be ready for school and playdates. We promise. Use what you have, a simple graphic tee and jeans will keep your kids comfortable and ready to play throughout the day.

If you keep your kids’ clothing simple and easy to mix and match you will find a fuss-free way to get everyone out the door on time and ready for the corn mazes, pumpkin patches, or ready, set, JUMP into that big pile of leaves!
